Lodge History

To celebrate its Centenary a new history, "The Life and Times Of Palma Virtuti Lodge No. 4187 - The First Hundred Years", has been produced.

It is a 145-page hardback book containing not only a factual record of the Lodge, but includes many snippets of interesting information about the Lodge and its members that have have shaped it into what it is today.

It also contains details of national, regional and local masonic events that have affected the Lodge and its members throughout its history.

Also included is an illustrated history of all the masonic meeting places  in Aldershot since Freemasonry came to the town.

With a foreword written by the Provincial Grand Master, the book is in The national collection at Freemason's Hall, and is being sold in aid of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Provincial Festival in aid of the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Installation Night 2021

On 15th September 2021 the Lodge held its rescheduled Installation, at which W.Bro. Barry Jones was installed as its Centennial Worshipful Master nearly 30 years after he had first occupied the Chair. He will serve for 6 months until the next regular Installation date in March 2022.

The Lodge is looking forward to an official visit by the Provincial Grand Master and his team in November 2021 to present a Centenary Warrant and individual Centenary Jewels.
